I have 2 filters to capture emails to build my dictionary.
1: If message is incoming
Then save message as C:savedmailincoming{Subject}{X-EW-Time}.eml
2: If message is outgoing
Then save message as C:savedmailoutgoing{Subject}{X-EW-Time}.eml
The logs simply state:
5/13/2004 9:37:13 AM ID:177 297: Processing filter 'Capture messages
(Incoming)'
5/13/2004 9:37:13 AM ID:177 297: Checking condition 'message is incoming'
5/13/2004 9:37:13 AM ID:177 297: Processing filter 'Capture messages
(Outgoing)'
5/13/2004 9:37:13 AM ID:177 297: Checking condition 'message is outgoing'

ricks question , of course, and i cant get my head around your config, you
need to have something that identifies the message as being outgoing or
incoming - so if the users dont exist, the proggie doesnt know that it was
incoming/outgoing message...
so, i dont think the nodomain would work if you have no users ? If you
have a domain with no users , like a named domain, it would...

Message is all the same ID and apparently to and from the same mailserver
(otherwise, how is it both outgoing and incoming?). EWall, at least in
Version 1, will treat messages originating from its own mail domains as
local mail and will only process incoming filters and default filters (if no
incoming or outgoing) at each filter level.
To test the outgoing filters you need to send mail to outside of your own
mail domain(s).

Thanks guys, I had to add my domain to eWall. Makes sense though. How else
would eWall know if its incoming or outgoing?
