DNSWL - Use of DNS White List

Postby mcorrow » Wed Dec 02, 2009 10:31 pm

I'd like to be able to use mailfilter to query DNSWL (DNSWL.ORG) to allow email from whitelisted IP addresses to go directly through. It would require access to the retrieved result (127.0.X.1/2/3). Is it possible in Mailfilter to access the retrieved result from a dnsbl/dnswl? Has anyone implemented this whitelist? If so, what rule did you set up?

Thanks!

Please try following filter

Code: Select all
if sender is listed in DNSBL
then stop all filters

and add "list.dnswl.org" to the DNSBL list with desired result from dropdown box (if there's no necessary value just type it).

If sender's IP will be found in DNSWL and result matches the desired value, the subsequent filters will be stopped, and message will go to the mail server.
