IP-DNSBL Filter....

Postby mirkonetit » Fri Jun 12, 2009 7:28 am

Hello everybody,
i'm using Mailfilter 4.1.21 associated with Argosoft Mailserver Pro 1.8.9.6

Now i created a filter like this (in onfilter - incoming):
If sender is listes in bl.spamcop.net
then delete message
and stop all filters

This filter works very well but.. if i send an email to another member of my mailserver i have a problem...

On my Argo i created two domains: xxx.com and yyy.com
if i send and email from aaa@xxx.com to bbb@yyy.com the intercepted ip is not my mailserver one but the one of my office (or home) router..

then argo is configured so send and receinve emails so is my smtp and pop3 server.... The "USE IMMEDIATE DELIVERY TO LOCAL USERS" option is unchecked...

please help me what i need to change to see my smtp ip and not the router one?

bye.. and thanks, mirko

The only thing I can suggest is to enable "Extended DNSBL test" in MF -> Options. Then it will check all IP addresses from message header.

MF checks the last IP address from top Received header, provided by ArGo. Or all non-local IPs from all Received headers with that option enabled.
